Eiger Electronics Inc. was established in 1950 by Bob Eiger. Bob started by selling television tubes to the local television repair shops. For the next 25 years, Bob Eiger expanded his products to fill the needs of the New York state market.

In 1975 Bob's son Neil Eiger was introduced to the business. Neil recognized that there was a demand for their products from coast to coast.

Through the use of toll free phone numbers, Neil and his growing staff soon found it possible to satisfy the needs of dealers and consumers from Hawaii to Puerto Rico.
